Job summary

Compass Group USA is seeking a part-time Captain, Catering to coordinate catering staff schedules and ensure timely service at functions. The role includes preparing and serving food under supervision, with potential driving duties for deliveries to catered events.

Applicants should have hospitality/catering and strong customer service experience, and be available Monday–Friday 11am–5pm with weekends required. A valid driver’s license and food handler permit may be required.

Qualifications

• Hospitality/catering experience required.
• Excellent customer service experience required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates catering staff schedules to ensure functions are delivered, served and cleared in a timely fashion.
• Prepares and serves food at scheduled functions under the Catering Director's supervision.
• May drive a truck to deliver food and beverages to catered functions.
• Maintains proper presentation, portion control and serving temperatures; follows HACCP standards.
