Qualifications

• A thorough understanding of bar/tavern service and beverage operation.
• Legal age to serve liquor according to state law.
• Excellent customer service skills expected.
• Dependability and reliability required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Working knowledge of beer, wine and liquor and drink recipes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience operating a computerized cash register.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt and efficient customer service.
• Maintain a supply of bar products and glassware.
• Ensure compliance with all beverage laws and policies.
• Monitor guest experience and act to ensure best service.
• Prepare garnishes, mixes and pre-mixed drinks.
• Adhere to sanitation, safety and alcohol service regulations; verify ages and stop service to intoxicated guests.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
