Job Summary

Summary: Prepares and serves beverages to guests in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Adhere to liquor laws regarding serving minors and intoxicated guests.
• Set up and stock bars with beer, wine, spirits, glassware, garnishes, and supplies.
• Maintain stock and prepare garnishes, juices, and perishables.
• Greet guests courteously.
• Take and prepare drink orders, garnish, and present drinks following recipes.
• Verify guests' identification.
• Detect guest intoxication and act accordingly, demonstrating knowledge of liquor laws.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and verify charges.
• Secure all beverage and food items, equipment, and cash.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Arrange bottles and glasses attractively.
• Wash and sterilize stemware.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
