Job Summary

Summary: Prepare and serve beverages to guests in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Adhere to liquor laws regarding serving minors and intoxicated guests.
• Set up and stock bars with all necessary supplies.
• Maintain quality of garnishes, juices, and perishables.
• Greet guests courteously.
• Take and prepare drink orders, practice portion control.
• Check IDs for guests.
• Recognize and respond to guest intoxication.
• Handle cash, verify charges, and record transactions.
• Secure beverage products, cash, and equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Arrange bottles and glasses attractively.
• Wash and sterilize stemware.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
