We are hiring immediately for a part-time CATERING ATTENDANT position at Wayne State College, located at 1111 Main Street, Wayne, NE 68787. Online applications are accepted only.

Pay Rate: $13.50 per hour.

Job Summary

The Catering Attendant delivers and serves food at scheduled functions under the supervision of the catering captain. Responsibilities include setting up and serving at events, cleaning, and returning leftover food and equipment. May involve driving a catering delivery truck.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Assemble and deliver food and supplies for catered functions.
2. Log and maintain food temperatures.
3. Arrange tables and decorations.
4. Set up buffet tables with food, beverages, and service items.
5. Serve food and beverages to guests.
6. Clean the location after events.
7. Return food, beverages, and equipment to the catering facility.
8. Distribute and collect customer comment cards.
9. Maintain catering facility and equipment.
10. Provide friendly, courteous service to guests.
11. Maintain knowledge of menu and products.
12. Ensure a clean and safe work environment.
13. Follow safety and sanitation policies.
14. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license may be required.
• Must obtain a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers' permit where required by law.
