Bonus eligibility applies to candidates hired into a full or part-time CNA position; prorated for part-time hires. Per diem hires are ineligible. Current MaineHealth employees are ineligible; former employees are ineligible until more than 6 months of separation.
Summary:
Under supervision of Registered Professional Nurses and according to policies and procedures, performs service duties and technical tasks such as taking vital signs and assisting patients with hygiene and activities of daily living. Duties may vary by assignment. Consideration of patient-specific needs and behaviors is required.
The Certified Nursing Assistant II assists in administering nursing care to designated patients under RN supervision, performing direct and indirect care duties.
