Job Summary

Delivers and serves food at scheduled functions under the supervision of the catering captain. Ensures all events during the shift are executed accurately. May drive a catering delivery truck. Sets up and serves at functions; cleans event areas during and after events; breaks down setups; returns leftover food and equipment to the catering facility promptly.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Assembles and delivers all food and supplies for catered functions.
2. Logs and maintains food temperatures.
3. Arranges tables and decorations.
4. Sets buffet tables with food, beverages, and service items according to standards.
5. Serves food and beverages to guests.
6. Thoroughly cleans the location after events.
7. Returns food, beverages, and equipment to the catering facility.
8. Distributes and collects customer comment cards.
9. Stocks, cleans, and maintains catering facilities and equipment.
10. Provides friendly, courteous service to guests.
11. Maintains knowledge of menu and products.
12. Ensures a clean and safe work environment.
13. Follows safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
14. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license may be required.
• Must obtain a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers' permit if required by law.
