Job summary

Creative Dining Services at The College of Wooster is seeking friendly, experienced food service professionals to join our night cater waiter team, delivering high-quality catered events to the campus community.

The role offers training and advancement opportunities, and time off between semesters to spend with family during the winter holidays. Schedule varies with bookings, including mornings, afternoons, or nights.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering or event service.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work flexible hours based on bookings.

Responsibilities

• Set up, serve and maintain coffee breaks, breakfast, lunch, dinner, receptions - both buffets & served and cleans up.
• Ensure all dishes, utensils, and other equipment are clean and properly returned.
• Follow all food safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
• Communicate regularly with management about workplace needs and improvements.
• Other duties as assigned.

We are looking for friendly, experienced food service professionals to complete our night cater waiter team, providing high-quality catered events to the campus community. Our staff has opportunities for training and advancement and time off between semesters to spend with family and friends during the winter holidays.

Core Responsibilities:

Schedule is based on bookings, could be morning afternoons, or nights. Hours may change during summer and breaks in the school year.
