Job summary

The Kraft Heinz Company is seeking an Analyst, Category Strategy & Insights in Chicago to leverage diverse data sources and visualization tools to deliver actionable category insights. You will build category stories, assess whitespace, SKU optimization, and space recommendations grounded in shopper behavior.

You will collaborate with customer teams, translate analyses into compelling narratives, and contribute to repeatable reporting frameworks while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Economics, Marketing, Statistics or equivalent practical experience.
• Demonstrated analytical capability with large datasets and defensible insights.
• Experience with retail POS, syndicated or panel data and related analytical tools (Circana, Numerator, Power BI) and Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication with the ability to craft clear PowerPoint storylines.

Responsibilities

• Deliver routine reporting and ad hoc analyses using customer, syndicated, and panel data to identify trends and opportunities in category performance.
• Analyze shopper behavior and category dynamics, including purchase frequency, penetration, and cross-shopping.
• Integrate data sources to develop a holistic view of category and shopper performance.
• Translate analyses into customer-ready storytelling and insights using PowerPoint and Power BI.
• Develop recommendations on distribution, assortment, shelving, merchandising, pricing, and promotion based on data.
