Job summary

Treatt is seeking a Category Manager in North America to lead non-Citrus categories, focusing on Extracts & Essences, Tea, and Sugar Reduction. This role bridges commercial, innovation, production and sales, acting as the NA category expert and collaborating with global teams.

The successful candidate will support regional sales and manufacturing, drive growth through customer engagement, portfolio decisions, and data-driven insights across the North American market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience in category management, marketing, or related commercial role.
• Strong understanding of portfolio strategy and market analysis.
• Experience supporting customer-facing commercial activity with data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own category strategies for non-Citrus categories (Extracts & Essences, Tea, Sugar Reduction).
• Manage portfolio, evaluate introductions, expansions, or removals.
• Lead category decisions from concept to commercialization and lifecycle management.
• Own category positioning and value propositions.
• Guide decisions with market insight and competitive intelligence.
• Monitor sales, margin, and category targets; support pricing strategy.
• Prepare regular category performance updates and recommendations.
• Serve as category expert in customer meetings and business reviews.
