Land O'Lakes is seeking an analytically minded storyteller to join its Customer Insights & Analytics team in Arden Hills, MN. The role blends data analysis with strategic storytelling to influence category decisions for Butter, Cheese, and Refrigerated Desserts.

The position requires hybrid presence Tue–Thu, strong communication, and a track record in omni-channel analytics, assortment analysis, and cross-functional collaboration with sales teams and customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher from accredited college or university or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years of experience in Category Management, Insights or Sales within the CPG industry.
• 5+ years of experience analyzing and interpreting data and storytelling.
• Proficiency with syndicated data sources including POS, loyalty card, and ad tracking (IRI Unify, Nielsen, Numerator, etc)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office to include Excel and PowerPoint.

Category Manager Customer Insights & Analytics

Land O Lakes is looking for an analytically minded storyteller to join its Customer Insights & Analytics team. This role is based in Arden Hills, MN and requires hybrid attendance in the office Tuesday through Thursday.

This position is responsible for driving Butter, Cheese, and Refrigerated Desserts Category Management efforts for ADUSA, Publix and HEB:

• Engagement with key internal and external stakeholders and customers
• Connecting with peers and cross functional teams to ensure alignment of tactics and strategies.
• Leveraging a broad suite of tools to evaluate performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
• Tailoring of national selling materials and presenting to key customers via the Field Sales Team
• Providing project based analytical support to National Category Managers, including reporting, trend analysis, and special project work.

The candidate must possess sound business judgment, excellent communication skills, be a self-starter, able to juggle multiple conflicting priorities, and demonstrate experience in the following areas:

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher from accredited college or university or equivalent work experience
• 7 or more years of experience in Category Management, Insights or Sales within the CPG industry
• 5 plus years of experience analyzing and interpreting data and story telling
• Proficiency with syndicated data sources including POS, loyalty card, and ad tracking (IRI Unify, Nielsen, Numerator, etc)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office to include Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred qualifications

• Category management experience in the Food and Beverage CPG space
• Experience working in commodity categories
• Category Management Certification
• Experience with ADUSA, Publix, or HEB

Salary range : $93,360 - $140,040 (in most cases, candidates offered employment can expect to be hired at a pay rate near the middle of our salary ranges)
