Job summary

The Hershey Company is seeking a Category Management Intern in Bentonville, AR. You will analyze shopper data and insights to build selling stories and develop business acumen while supporting Hershey’s Walmart initiatives.

The internship runs April 2027 to May 2028, with part-time hours during the school year and full-time hours in the summer. Successful interns may interview for full-time roles within Hershey after graduation.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate student with a 3.0+ GPA (preferred 3.2+).
• Sophomore or Junior as of Spring 2027.
• Majors in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Economics, Analytics, or Mathematics are highly preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership and academic achievement in activities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Professional communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop category management projects/reports to support Hershey sales goals at Walmart.
• Analyze customer business trends using multiple data sources.
• Identify selling opportunities for Walmart (Nielsen, IRi, Luminate, etc.).
• Analyze sales data for key category programs and promotions.
• Suggest new processes to improve Hershey Advisor Team efficiency across functions.
