Job summary

Advantage Solutions is seeking a Category Insights Analyst to serve as an analytical resource for regional retail sales clients. You will help accelerate information delivery, streamline processes, and provide essential insights, forecasting, and sales planning support.

You will collect and analyze data from NIQ, Circana, retailers, and shipments, collaborating with a regional office to build ad hoc and standardized reports that drive actionable insights for client development and Advantage

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; certification in category management is a plus
• Experience in consumer packaged goods or related field preferred
• Strong analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with data visualization tools and reporting applications
• Ability to turn data into actionable insights and recommendations

Responsibilities

• Reporting: use multiple data sources to create insights and KPI reports for the region
• Trade & Pricing: support pricing analyses and post-promotional reviews for client opportunities
• Marketplace Expertise: analyze market trends and retailer activity to advise regional strategy
• Business Reviews: assist in creating line reviews, selling stories, and business overviews
• Collaborate on Merchandising: work with Space Management to inform planograms and shelving standards
