Job summary

DSJ Global is seeking an Associate Category Insights Manager to drive category growth and commercial strategy across a portfolio of nationally recognized brands. Leverage market data, shopper insights, and analytics to influence customer strategies and opportunities.

Responsibilities include analyzing data, developing recommendations, and building data-driven selling stories with Sales, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to execute initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Category Management, Shopper Insights, Sales Analytics, or a related field.
• Experience utilizing syndicated data, customer POS data, and market research tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze category, shopper, and sales data to uncover trends and growth opportunities.
• Develop strategic recommendations that support customer growth, brand performance, and category expansion.
• Create customer presentations, category reviews, assortment recommendations, and business insights.
• Partner with Sales teams to build data-driven selling stories and customer strategies.
• Track category performance, competitive activity, promotional effectiveness, and market share trends.
• Support commercialization efforts for new products, programs, and strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Product Development, and Revenue Management.
• Manage multiple projects and priorities while ensuring timely execution against business objectives.
