The role involves using catastrophe modeling software, collaborating with underwriters and actuaries, and communicating findings to senior management. A Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of experience is required, with CSCR/CCRMP preferred.

Qualifications

• Preferred certifications: CSCR or CCRMP.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed analysis of catastrophe risks (earthquakes, hurricanes, floods).
• Utilize catastrophe modeling software to assess losses and develop risk scenarios.
• Collaborate with underwriters, actuaries and stakeholders on risk exposure and pricing.
• Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes related to catastrophe risk.
• Prepare reports for senior management highlighting exposure and mitigation.
• Develop and maintain catastrophe risk models for accuracy.
• Participate in cross-functional teams to enhance risk assessment processes.
