Qualifications

• actively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Meteorology, or similar analytical / science major.
• GPA of 3.0+ is required.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint is expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist in analysis projects under guidance of senior catastrophe modelers.
• Gather, organize and review data relevant to catastrophe model validation.
• Perform analyses to extract data sets that can be used to calculate the client's risk exposure.
• Assist senior R&D team members in preparing summaries, presentations, and reports for clients.
• Research and summarize industry publications and papers related to regional perils for analyses and client reports.
