Qualifications

• Actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree in accounting.
• GPA of 3.0+ required or preferred.
• Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint; strong MS Office skills.
• Legally authorized to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all reinsurance accounting functions for selected client accounts.
• Receive loss notices, loss status updates and proofs of loss and forward to reinsurers.
• Confirm coverage under treaty and review retention, limits and LAE terms.
• Prepare or review loss calculations for contract terms accuracy.
• Process claims transactions in accounting and claims systems; track reinsurer settlements.
