Job summary

The role includes field inspections, repair estimate preparation, and customer communication, with remote work when not deployed and multi-state travel.

Expect extended catastrophe deployments (≈30 days), extensive travel, and initial two-week training.

Qualifications

• Experience handling property insurance claims from inspection through final resolution.
• Knowledge of residential construction methods, repair practices, and property damage assessment.
• Experience interpreting insurance policies and applying coverage provisions to claim decisions.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate, and resolve complex homeowner property claims.
• Create, review, and audit detailed repair estimates for residential losses.
• Evaluate settlement options while ensuring compliance with regulations and fair claims practices.
• Negotiate settlements, issue payments within authority, document activity accurately.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, contractors, agents, and internal partners.
• Manage claim inventory and prioritize work during catastrophe responses.
• Utilize inspection technology and emerging tools to support investigations and service.
