Job summary

Create Music Group in Hollywood, CA is seeking a Catalog Migration Manager to work with the M&A and Distribution teams, overseeing intake, staging, validation and delivery of new catalogs to DSPs. The role emphasizes developing migration best practices and tracking progress across multiple acquisitions.

You will coordinate across internal and external teams, manage project timelines in internal software, report status to stakeholders, and ensure seamless DSP transitions for new catalogs.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years in digital music distribution, content management or catalog migrations at a distributor.
• Understanding of DDEX standards.
• Knowledge of audio, video and image formats for distribution delivery.
• Deep understanding of DSP metadata style guides and distribution.
• Experience with complex metadata and managing multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Intake & receiving — Manage multiple catalog acquisitions and confirm scope.
• Staging — Load and organize metadata and assets in the internal distribution software ahead of review.
• Metadata & asset validation — Review, validate metadata and assets against DSP guidelines.
• Cross-team coordination — Work across business and operational teams to close gaps.
• Distribution to DSPs — Deliver validated catalogs with accurate metadata for DSP transition.
• Project tracking — Track acquisitions in internal project-tracking software.
• Stakeholder reporting — Provide regular status updates to internal and external stakeholders.
• Process improvement — Help develop catalogue migration best practices.
• Other duties as assigned.
