Job summary

Create Music Group's CMG Digital Distribution team seeks an experienced Catalog Migration Manager to work with the M&A and Distribution teams on new catalog acquisitions, managing intake, staging, metadata validation, and DSP distribution.

You will coordinate across business units, track migrations in internal tools, report milestones to stakeholders, and help refine best practices to ensure seamless catalog transitions across DSPs.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in digital music distribution, content management and/or catalog migrations at a distributor.
• Understanding of DDEX standards.
• Knowledge of audio, video, and image formats for distribution delivery.
• Deep understanding of DSP metadata style guides and distribution.
• Experience working with complex metadata.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Proficiency with leading digital music platform interfaces and industry best practices.
• Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail and problem-solving drive.

Responsibilities

• Oversee intake and receiving of new catalogues from M&A and distribution teams.
• Load and organize metadata/assets in internal distribution software.
• Validate metadata and assets against DSP and internal style guidelines.
• Coordinate across cross-functional teams to keep migrations moving.
• Deliver validated catalogues to DSPs ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Track acquisitions end-to-end in internal project-tracking tools.
• Provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
