Job summary

Universal Music Group is seeking a Catalog Efficiency Coordinator to ensure catalogs move accurately through Songtrust’s publishing systems. You will identify bottlenecks, resolve metadata or system issues, and collaborate across teams to maintain transparency in catalog workflows.

You will monitor catalog processing, address LOD completion, work with Product/Engineering on failures, and ensure clean, accurate records across systems.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in music publishing operations, metadata management, or data analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with ISWC/ISRC/IPI/CWR and metadata standards.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and review Users, Songwriters, and Songs to identify catalog bottlenecks.
• Follow up on clients failing the Letter of Direction (LOD) process.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to resolve system issues.
• Review automation errors and coordinate with teams to resolve processing failures.
• Analyze terminated accounts to ensure catalog cleanup.
