Job summary

Universal Music Group is seeking a Coordinator, Catalog Efficiency in New York, NY (with responsibilities also in Nashville, TN) to ensure catalogs move accurately through Songtrust’s publishing workflows and collaborate across teams to maintain metadata integrity.

You will monitor catalogs, resolve LOD-related issues, work with Product/Engineering on system malfunctions, and analyze ETL errors. The role requires 1–3 years in music publishing/mdata and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in music publishing operations, metadata management, or music data analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Familiarity with music publishing systems, metadata standards (ISWC, ISRC, IPI), and CWR delivery processes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and review catalogs to identify bottlenecks between systems.
• Coordinate with Product and Engineering to resolve data issues and automation errors.
• Review and resolve taxonomy and metadata inconsistencies across catalogs and partners.
