Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks a CT Scan Technologist to perform CT radiography across designated facilities in Massachusetts. You will obtain patient history, explain procedures, and address patient concerns while delivering high-quality cross-sectional images for accurate diagnostics.

The role requires a high school diploma, ARRT certification if required, CPR where applicable, and compliance with professional standards. Travel between healthcare facilities is expected.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification may be required by state regulations or contract specifications.
• Current CPR certification when applicable.
• Health certificate required per contract or state regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Produce CT radiographs as ordered by physician.
• Obtain patient history and explain standard procedures.
• Address patient concerns during CT scanning.
• Perform specialized tasks involved in CT scans.

Job description

The CT Scan Technologist produces computerized tomographicscanner radiographs of specific areas as ordered by a physician. These cross-sectional images provide detailedinformation about soft tissues, blood vessels, and bones, which are essentialfor accurate diagnostics. The CT ScanTechnologist obtains patient history, explains standard procedures, andaddresses patient concerns. The CT Technologist also performs a variety ofspecialized tasks involved in the performance of CT scans.

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• One (1) year of experience as a CT Technologist preferred.
• A.R.R.T. (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)Certification, if required by state regulations or contract specifications
• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
• Current CPR if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
