Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks a CT Scan Technologist to perform cross-sectional CT imaging, obtain histories, and explain procedures in a healthcare facility setting.

The role requires ARRT certification (per state/contract) and current CPR, with travel to Milwaukee and Lancaster, WI. It offers competitive pay and benefits, and is a full-time contract position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• CT technologist experience preferred (1 year).
• ARRT certification may be required by state regulations or contract specs.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• Health certificate current per contract or state regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Produce CT radiographs as ordered by a physician.
• Explain standard procedures and address patient concerns.
• Obtain patient history and perform CT scans with accuracy.

Job description

The CT Scan Technologist produces computerized tomographicscanner radiographs of specific areas as ordered by a physician. These cross-sectional images provide detailedinformation about soft tissues, blood vessels, and bones, which are essentialfor accurate diagnostics. The CT ScanTechnologist obtains patient history, explains standard procedures, andaddresses patient concerns. The CT Technologist also performs a variety ofspecialized tasks involved in the performance of CT scans.

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• One (1) year of experience as a CT Technologist preferred.
• A.R.R.T. (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)Certification, if required by state regulations or contract specifications
• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
• Current CPR if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
