Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing in Hendersonville, NC is seeking a Travel CT Scan Technologist to perform CT imaging as ordered by physicians. You will obtain patient history, explain procedures, and address patient concerns while conducting cross-sectional imaging.

The role requires ARRT certification/ licensure as applicable, state regulatory compliance, and patient care in a fast-paced setting. Travel assignment with standard 40-hour weeks and competitive pay is offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• One year of CT Technologist experience preferred.
• Appropriate state licensure in diagnostic imaging is required.
• ARRT certification may be required by state regulations or contract specifications.
• CPR may be required.
• TB questionnaire/PPD or chest X-ray may be required.
• Current health certificate per contract or regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• Obtain patient history and explain procedures.
• Address patient concerns and provide information about the CT process.

The CT Scan Technologist produces computerized tomographic scanner radiographs of specific areas as ordered by a physician. These cross-sectional images provide detailed information about soft tissues, blood vessels, and bones, which are essential for accurate diagnostics. The CT Scan Technologist obtains patient history, explains standard procedures, and addresses patient concerns. The CT Technologist also performs a variety of specialized tasks involved in the performance of CT scans.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• One (1) year of experience as a CT Technologist preferred.
• Appropriate valid state licensure in diagnostic imaging
• A.R.R.T. (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)Certification, if required by state regulations or contract specifications
• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
