Job summary

The CT Scan Technologist at Amergis Healthcare Staffing performs CT radiographs and specialized CT scans as ordered by a physician. You will obtain patient history, explain procedures, and address patient concerns while maintaining standards of practice.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 1 year of CT Technologist experience preferred
• ARRT certification if required by state regulations or contract specifications
• Current CPR if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Job description

The CT Scan Technologist produces computerized tomographic scanner radiographs of specific areas as ordered by a physician. These cross-sectional images provide detailed information about soft tissues, blood vessels, and bones, which are essential for accurate diagnostics. The CT Scan Technologist obtains patient history, explains standard procedures, and addresses patient concerns. The CT Technologist also performs a variety of specialized tasks involved in the performance of CT scans.

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• One (1) year of experience as a CT Technologist preferred.
• A.R.R.T. (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification, if required by state regulations or contract specifications
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
