Job summary

Western States Equipment Company in Fruitland, Idaho, is seeking a Cat Compact Sales coordinator to serve as the primary contact for customers, coordinating parts, service, and rental solutions to ensure a positive experience.

You will identify customer needs, provide quotations, manage transactions, and support inventory and service operations across Sales, Parts, Service, and Rental teams, contributing to branch goals and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Proof of high school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years Heavy Equipment Industry experience; CAT experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year sales experience; heavy equipment environment preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Must communicate in English (speak, read, write).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary Cat Compact Sales contact, coordinating parts, service, and rentals.
• Identify customer needs and recommend equipment, parts, services, or rentals.
• Communicate with customers and internal teams to resolve requests promptly.
• Perform equipment quotations, sales docs, and customer follow-up.
• Maintain inventory, process transactions, and manage order accuracy.
• Schedule service in Dynamics 365 and update customers on status.
• Coordinate rental requests and execute rental agreements.
• Keep yard inventory neat and support branch goals.
