Job summary

Western States Equipment Company is seeking a customer-focused Sales & Support professional to serve as the primary contact for Cat Compact Sales. You will coordinate Parts, Service, and Rental activities to ensure a positive customer experience and drive business growth.

Responsibilities include identifying customer needs, recommending equipment and services, and processing quotations and transactions. Candidates should have Cat/AX/365 experience and strong communication skills in a fast-paced

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum 2 years in Heavy Equipment industry; Caterpillar experience preferred.
Minimum 1 year sales experience; heavy equipment environment preferred.
Valid Driver's License with clean record; able to communicate in English.

Responsibilities

Act as primary contact for Cat Compact Sales; coordinate Parts, Service, and Rental to ensure customer satisfaction.
Identify customer needs; recommend equipment, parts, services, or rental solutions.
Communicate with customers and internal teams for timely issue resolution.
Handle quotations, sales docs, and follow-up activities.
Perform basic warehouse duties: receiving, packing, stocking, and shipping parts.
Process customer transactions accurately across departments.
