Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 1-2 years of experience in Auto/General Liability Claims, Insurance, or related field
• Bachelor’s Degree with 1 year of experience in Auto/General Liability Claims, Insurance, or related field
• Experience in a call center, particularly within the Insurance industry
• Ability to type at least 30 words-per-minute
• Knowledge of claim investigation procedures
• Proficiency in documenting case details accurately and assessing payment eligibility
• Strong communication and negotiation skills

Responsibilities

• Conduct claims investigations to determine liability exposure.
• Manage moderately complex property damage and bodily injury claims.
• Calculate financial exposure and establish reserves.
• Negotiate settlements with claimants and legal representatives.
• Maintain timely status updates and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Coordinate with internal and external contacts for claim processing.
• Ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Pursue ongoing education in transportation claims management.
