Job summary

American International Group, Inc. (AIG) in Atlanta, GA seeks a Casualty Claims Analyst IV for AL/GL field claims with Lexington and AIG Programs.

The role involves investigating, evaluating, and negotiating auto and general liability claims, while maintaining strong customer service and timely reserves. Responsibilities include managing reserves, diary system, mediations, and collaboration with broker, insured, and underwriter; multi-state licenses are a plus and licenses must be obtained

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Auto and General Liability claim experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience resolving moderate severity injury claims.
• Experience evaluating coverage and writing coverage letters.
• Licenses: Property and casualty licenses required within 6 months; multi-state adjuster licenses a plus.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate, and negotiate general and auto liability claims.
• Establish accurate reserves and manage a diary system.
• Communicate file updates and reserves to broker, insured, and underwriter.
• Attend mediations and manage litigation to ensure timely, cost-effective outcomes.
