Job summary

The Mutual Group is seeking a Commercial Casualty Claims Adjuster to partner with our members, processing claims accurately so they can resume their life’s work with minimal delay. The role covers Commercial General Liability, Trucking, D&O, EPL, and other Casualty exposures.

Hybrid or in-office schedule is expected near the home office; travel may be required. We offer a competitive salary, robust benefits, and a supportive team in the Claims department.

Qualifications

• 5 or more years in handling Commercial Liability Claims.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; New York, Florida or Texas claims handling license required.
• Ability to negotiate skillfully in difficult situations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Investigates coverage and cause of loss on routine to complex claims.
• Negotiates fair and efficient resolutions while managing costs.
• Prepares written communications, including letters and reservation of rights.
• Supervises field examiners and vendor resources as needed.
• Maintains claim file documentation and timely disposition of claims.
