Zusammenfassung

The Mutual Group seeks a Commercial Casualty Claims Adjuster to partner with our members, processing claims accurately so they can get back to work quickly. You will handle a broad range of casualty exposures, verify coverage, interview involved parties and gather necessary documentation to support loss evaluations.

The role supports a home-based environment with hybrid/in-office options for those near the office, and periodic travel as needed to fulfill duties while ensuring timely dispositions.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of experience handling Commercial Liability Claims.
• Understanding of coverage concepts, policy interpretation and liability determination.
• Ability to work independently in a home-based environment.
• Willingness to travel periodically.
• Environmental claim experience and propane gas distributors claim experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; NY/FL/TX claims handling license required.

Aufgaben

• Investigates coverage, cause of loss, interviewing all parties and gathering docs.
• Handles liability and property damage claims, including litigation considerations.
• Triage severe exposures to large loss team and negotiate fair resolutions.
• Prepare settlement communications and maintain claim file documentation.
• Coordinate with field examiners, engineers and other experts as needed.
