Job summary

RT Specialty in Chicago is seeking a Brokerage Assistant to support the casualty brokerage team with policy processing, endorsements, quoting, binder issuance, and account documentation.

You will work in a hybrid schedule (Mon-Thu in office, Fridays remote), collaborating with brokers, carriers, and internal partners while gaining hands-on training and opportunities for career growth in brokerage operations and client services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Property & Casualty license or willingness to obtain within 90 days.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook).
• Experience in insurance brokerage is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day servicing of commercial casualty accounts.
• Assist brokers with quoting, binder preparation, policy processing, endorsements, and documentation.
• Review policies and related documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare renewal materials, submissions, and cover letters.
• Maintain client and policy data in agency systems and document management platforms.
• Collaborate with brokers, marketing, and operations to support account execution.
