Job summary

Qualifications

• BLS certification required upon hire.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• 1–2 years direct patient care experience required.
• Basic computer skills required (MS Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience with Word/Excel/Outlook preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes patients and families; orients to room and facility policies.
• Responds to call lights; performs routine patient rounds and assists with activities of daily living.
• Assists RN with wound care and specimen collection; reports changes to RN.
• Orders supplies in Meditech; maintains equipment par levels and inventories.
• Maintains unit readiness and cleanliness; supports transport and transfers.
• Documents vital signs, intake/output, and other data in Meditech; enters orders accurately.
