Job summary

Ebenezer’s Pillars of Prospect Park in Minneapolis is seeking a Culinary Assistant to serve dining room and to-go meals to residents. The shift schedule includes casual/on-call roles with a minimum of 3 shifts per month, including weekends.

You will learn the EMenu System, follow safety and sanitation procedures, assist with dining room setup, and support resident satisfaction by offering menu choices and accommodating dietary needs.

Qualifications

• Less than 1 year experience required.
• High School Diploma preferred.
• 1 year experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serves meals and keeps the dining area clean and inviting.
• Follows the meal schedule and serving procedures.
• Offers resident meal choices and accommodates dietary needs.
• Uses proper safety and sanitation techniques.
• Follows dining room cleaning and setup procedures.
• Learns EMenu System and restaurant-style service.
• Ensures all dishes and utensils are washed and put away.
• Welcomes residents and encourages positive relations and satisfaction.
• Listsens to resident requests and refers issues to leadership as appropriate.
