Ebenezer's Amira Choice Minnetonka location is seeking a Server/Culinary Assistant to provide dining room service for residents in Minnetonka, MN. The role includes serving meals, maintaining a clean dining area, and accommodating dietary needs while learning the EMenu system and ensuring proper sanitation.

The position supports a casual/on-call and day/evening shift with every other weekend and holiday rotation, offering a meaningful role in a senior living community.

Qualifications

• Minimum of less than 1 year experience in dining/service roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Warm, friendly approach when serving seniors.

Responsibilities

• Serves meals and ensures that the dining area is clean and inviting.
• Follows meal serving schedule and procedures.
• Offers resident meal choices and meets resident's specific dietary needs.
• Uses proper safety and sanitation techniques.
• Follows dining room cleaning schedule and procedures.
• Follow proper procedures for dining room set-up.
• Learns and becomes proficient with EMenu System and restaurant style service.
• Ensures all dishes are washed, sanitized, and put away before end of shift.
• Promotes and encourages positive resident relations and satisfaction.
• Welcomes residents and initiates conversation.
• Accommodates resident requests such as requests for food substitution, change in seating, etc.
• Listens to any complaints and responds appropriately. Refers issues to Executive Director and Culinary Director as appropriate.
