Job summary

UPMC Center for Emergency Medicine seeks a Casual EMT Instructor to support its Education team. This role delivers direct classroom instruction to students enrolled in EMT programs and helps ensure alignment with EMS training standards.

You will monitor student progress, provide tutoring, grade assessments, and help prepare examinations. The position emphasizes professional conduct and timely class delivery in accordance with Center, State, Federal, and AMA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Monitor students' progress and provide supplemental instruction or tutoring when needed.
• Provide students with constructive feedback, direction, and counseling.
• Grade quizzes, examinations, and assignments in a timely manner.
• Conduct classes in accordance with Center, State, Federal and AMA training standards.
• Develop and administer regular quizzes and homework assignments.
• Cover material as assigned by the Coordinator of EMS Education.
