Job summary

The nursing process will guide practice to prescribe, delegate and coordinate care, with contact with patients, families, staff and physicians. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for this role.

Hours are 12-hour flex shifts, 48 hours biweekly, every third weekend. Open Date: 07/30/2026; Preferred Application Deadline: 08/06/2026.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of nursing with current licensure in Minnesota.
• ACLS, PALS, TNCC certifications preferred or obtained within one year.
• Minimum of one year medical/surgical experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients using the nursing process to prescribe, delegate and coordinate care.
• Supervise patient care and interact with patients, families, staff and physicians.
• Demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills in a fast-paced ED setting.
