Job summary

You will collaborate with team members to identify enhancements, perform routine equipment maintenance, and ensure safety protocols are followed during casting runs. Flexibility to handle other duties as assigned is required.

Qualifications

• Two levels of Casting certification required; equivalent work experience may be considered.
• Willing and able to become certified in forklift operation.
• Willing and able to work with computers.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the set-up and operation of casting equipment and machinery.
• Monitor the casting process to ensure production runs smoothly.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and work with team members to resolve issues.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure good working order.
• Maintain accurate records of production runs, including production rates, material usage and equipment performance.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed during casting runs and report safety concerns to management.
• Collaborate with other team members to identify process improvements and implement changes.
