Job summary

You will collaborate with team members to identify enhancements, perform routine equipment maintenance, and ensure safety protocols are followed during casting runs. Flexibility to handle other duties as assigned is required.

Qualifications

  • Two levels of Casting certification required; equivalent work experience may be considered.
  • Willing and able to become certified in forklift operation.
  • Willing and able to work with computers.

  • Ensure safety protocols are followed during casting runs and report safety concerns to management.
  • Collaborate with other team members to identify process improvements and implement changes.

Job description

This role will be responsible for performing various day-to-day production tasks in the manufacturing facility on the casting line. Will be responsible for monitoring the casting process, troubleshooting issues, and communicating with other team members as necessary to ensure that production targets are met.

Essential Functions:
  • Assist with the set-up and operation of casting equipment and machinery.
  • Monitor the casting process to ensure that production runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and work with other team members to resolve issues.
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure that it remains in good working order.
  • Maintain accurate records of production runs, including production rates, material usage and equipment performance.
  • Ensure that all safety protocols are followed during casting runs and report any safety concerns to management immediately.
  • Collaborate with other team members to identify areas for process improvement and implement changes as necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Achieved twolevelsof Casting certification. May consider equivalent work experience in lieu of Casting certifications.
  • Willing and able to become certified in fork liftoperation.
  • Willing and able to work with computers.
