Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a dedicated production worker to join our casting operations in Henderson, KY. You will handle daily manufacturing tasks, maintain safety standards, and support continuous improvement across multiple steps in the metal forming process.

The role requires knowledge of casting processes, the ability to work in a noisy, high-heat plant, and a dependable attendance record. You will rotate through roles on a fast-paced swing schedule and contribute to quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of the casting process and molten metal background desirable.
• Minimum of two years stable work experience in an industrial environment required.
• Good communication skills and willingness to work on a diverse, cooperative team.
• Willingness to work a rapid rotation swing shift on an EOWEO schedule.
• Excellent attendance record in previous positions.
• Ability to work on the plant floor with heat and loud noises, fumes and airborne particles.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb equipment and stairs, and use various hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily operations in the assigned area, delivering high-quality products safely and efficiently
• Maintain and promote a safe work environment and safe work practices by observing EHS rules, including the 5S standard
• Assist the team in achieving production targets and eliminating bottlenecks across charting, melting, casting, homogenizing, sawing, packing, and loading processes
• Rotate periodically through all team roles
• Perform routine minor equipment maintenance
• Assist maintenance technicians and others with heavier maintenance when needed
• Participate actively in process improvement activities
• Perform required quality checks and comply with quality requirements to improve quality and customer satisfaction
• Follow production SOPs and assist in updating and improving them
