Qualifikationen

• Previous forklift experience required.
• Spray painting experience in an auto body shop preferred.

Aufgaben

• Clean and prepare iron and aluminum castings and sheet metal parts for painting and/or assembly; operate forklift truck.
• Operate hoist to immerse parts in acid, alkaline and rinse baths.
• Run parts through acid/caustic treatments to achieve bright dip where not painted.
• Maintain logs, checklists, test records and process documentation.
• Apply powder or spray paint to parts to achieve primer or finish coats and check for defects.
• Operate oven controls and spray paint equipment to ensure finish quality.
• Move materials with forklift or cart and ensure safe stacking.
• Follow safety/regulatory procedures and report spills or equipment faults.
