Ashton North LLC is seeking an Inside Sales Engineer to join a 12-person team. You will become an expert in client businesses, develop quotes and proposals, and work across departments to meet client needs. Training is emphasized and growth opportunities are strong.

Markets include petrochemical, defense, aerospace, and industrial equipment. Travel is limited to about one quarter per year. A dynamic leadership team values employees and supports career growth.

Qualifications

• Must have customer-facing work experience.
• 2+ years in a technically oriented role, preferably casting, machining or materials process.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop quotes and generate proposals for customer parts.
• Serve as account manager to increase sales and address client needs.
• Collaborate with field and territory sales to grow the business; ~75% existing clients, 20% additional, 5% new business.
• Manage projects through the full sales cycle.
