Job summary

Siemens Energy in Florida is seeking a Manufacturing Technician for a first-shift role in Gibsonton. You will perform operations on castings, including surface preparation, to produce high-quality parts in a collaborative site environment.

You will set up benching procedures, inspect parts, verify serial numbers, troubleshoot, and support maintenance activities. The role requires a HS diploma and US work authorization, with potential export-control considerations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ years of experience using hand tools; plastics/ceramics extrusion or injection/blow molding is a plus.
• Experience with inspection equipment such as calipers and pin gauges is a plus.
• Able to perform math using the metric system and read engineering instructions.
• Applicant must be legally authorized to work in the United States; export license requirements apply.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate benching procedures on castings using basic tools.
• Prepare castings for visual inspection.
• Use Mercury to verify serial numbers, adjust machines and troubleshoot.
• Perform improvement analysis and basic maintenance with maintenance technicians.
• Cross training and other duties may be assigned as needed.
