Job summary

Siemens Energy in Gibsonton, Florida is seeking a Manufacturing Technician Casting- Puller on a C shift (Wed 12pm-6pm, Thu-Sat 6am-6pm). You will transport molds, operate hydraulics and pneumatic devices, and perform post-cast procedures to meet production specs.

Responsibilities include using hand tools, running a hoist, reading engineering instructions, and maintaining a clean, safe work area while training others as needed.

Qualifications

• Evidence of a completed High School or GED is required.
• Ability to read Engineering instructions.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and ability to work in extreme heat.
• Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
• This position will require an export license from the Department of Commerce, Bureau of Industry and Security, and/or the Department of State, Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. Issuance of any required license is a prerequisite for this position.

Responsibilities

• Transport molds into and out of the preheat furnaces and casting furnaces.
• Operate hydraulics and use pneumatic devices.
• Conduct post-cast procedures.
• All tasks must be completed according to production specifications to produce parts of exceptional quality in the Gibsonton Florida Location.
