Job summary

Siemens Energy in Gibsonton, FL seeks a Manufacturing Technician Advanced Core Mix for 1st shift (M-F 6am–2pm). You will handle molding and demolding of shell blocks, liner prep, and transfer to ovens to produce high‑quality parts according to specifications.

You will set up and operate the V‑blender, perform laboratory tests (MOR, LOI), plan weekly production, maintain equipment, and work with maintenance staff to ensure safe, efficient operations in a clean, compliant environment.

Qualifications

• Evidence of a completed High School or GED is required.
• Ability to read Engineering instructions.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
• Export license and US employment eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate core V-blender to blend ceramic powders.
• Performs laboratory testing, MOR testing, Loss on Ignition.
• Set up and basic troubleshooting of core blend and mixing machines; plan weekly production.
• Process blend according to engineering specifications and replenish core mix.
• Maintain flow and quality of the mix based on inventory.
• Clean and maintain equipment and cooperate with maintenance staff.
