Job summary

Rolls-Royce Corporation in Indianapolis is seeking a Castbond Manufacturing Engineer to develop and implement Castbond processes at the Advanced Turbine Center. You will design manufacturing solutions, manage projects, and ensure safety and compliance while delivering milestones.

The role requires experience in manufacturing engineering with machining disciplines such as milling and EDM, plus familiarity with Teamcenter, Siemens NX, and Vericut.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Engineering with 3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience, OR Bachelor's degree with 1+ year, OR Masters/PhD, OR 5+ years experience in lieu.
• U.S. Citizen eligibility required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement manufacturing processes for Castbond components.
• Create the full technical documentation package for Castbond manufacturing processes (MVA, routing, technical Instructions, NX models/drawings, NC programs).
• Collect process data and analyze using established statistical software.
• Understand impacts of machining and bonding process to the material properties of single crystal castings.
• Provide project management for Castbond manufacturing engineering projects.
• Ensure processes are in full compliance to Health, Safety, and Environment standards.
• Act as technical authority for processes within area of accountability.
