Job summary

Kansas Crossing Casino LC in Pittsburg, KS is seeking a Surveillance Agent to monitor patron activities and ensure compliance with internal controls and state regulations. You will review policies and operate surveillance equipment, reporting any violations and assisting investigations.

The role requires strong written reporting, the ability to communicate with law enforcement when needed, and the capacity to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years old with high school diploma or GED.
• Formal security or law enforcement training preferred; related on-the-job experience may be considered in lieu of formal training.
• Previous security, military, or civilian police training and/or experience preferred.
• Ability to read, analyze, interpret and comprehend technical procedures, government regulations, instructions, and correspondence/memos; write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

• Attend daily briefings and meetings.
• Ensure the surveillance department operates according to prescribed policies and procedures.
• Write reports clearly and concisely with factual information.
• Operate surveillance equipment and report any malfunctions.
• Document, observe, tape and report violations of state regulations, company policies or procedures.
• Interact with local, state and federal law enforcement in investigations on company property.
• Monitor currency transports per casino procedures.
• Complete tasks and department assignments and meet deadlines.
• Communicate effectively to provide direction to facilities team.
