Job summary

Kansas Crossing Casino + Hotel is seeking a Surveillance Technician responsible for testing, alignment, repair, and operation of all surveillance equipment on property, including CCTV and electronic security devices.

You will install, maintain, and troubleshoot cameras, recording devices, and related wiring to ensure full coverage and optimal performance while adhering to Gaming Commission rules.

Responsibilities

• Attend daily briefings and meetings; be on time and participate positively.
• Install and maintain CCTV cameras, recording devices, expansion equipment, and related wiring; ensure functioning.
• Repair damaged or malfunctioning surveillance equipment.
• Maintain knowledge of Gaming Commission rules and ensure adherence to surveillance capabilities and coverage.
• Implement preventative maintenance programs to reduce failures.
• Maintain and program computer-controlled matrix switch supporting monitors and cameras.
• Inspect power supply and wiring; identify and correct potential problems.
• Ensure inventory of equipment and supplies is on hand and restocked as needed.
• Consult with management and vendors on equipment needs for surveillance operations.
• Facilitate information flow through regular department meetings.
• Work on projects or services to help achieve department objectives.
• Inform senior management of information necessary for efficient casino operation.
• Conduct themselves courteously, reflecting company values of Fun, Family and Community.
• Performs other duties as assigned by department or management.
