Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation is seeking a Surveillance Supervisor to oversee the surveillance team, ensure all logs, reports, and video recordings are properly maintained, and escalate irregular activities to the Surveillance Director.

The role requires knowledge of casino rules, regulatory requirements, and camera systems, with at least one year of supervisory experience in casino surveillance. The incumbent will train staff and help manage day-to-day operations.

Qualifications

  • A broad knowledge of games and casino rules, procedures and administration.
  • Knowledge of the laws and regulations affecting the casino industry.
  • Must know camera equipment and recording methods.
  • Must identify cheating methods and irregular activities.
  • At least one year experience in a supervisory capacity in a casino surveillance department.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and direct the surveillance department on the assigned shift.
  • Maintain reports, logs and videotapes; report irregular activities.
  • Develop shift schedules to meet IGC regulations.
  • Advise the Surveillance Director on performance and activity.
  • Complete performance evaluations with approval from the Surveillance Director.
  • Provide on-the-job training and conduct training classes as required.
  • Assist with day-to-day operations and perform Lead Agent duties as needed.
